This year’s Spring Conference features award-winning author Lidia Yuknavitch and Donadio & Olson literary agent Carrie Howland.

Lidia Yuknavitch headlines our annual two-day workshop.

Lidia Yuknavitch is the author of the memoir The Chronology of Water and the novel Dora: A Headcase: A Farce as well as three books of short stories and a critical book on war and narrative. Her work has appeared in The Sun, Ms., The Iowa Review, Zyzzyva, The Rumpus, BOMB, and elsewhere. She is the recipient of an Oregon Book Award, a Pacific Northwest Bookseller’s Award, and grants from Poets & Writers, Literary Arts Inc., and Oregon Literary Arts. She lives and teaches in Oregon and is the creator of chiasmus press.

“Dora: A Headcase is… dirty, sexy, rude, smart, soulful, fresh and risky. Think of your favorite out-there genius writer; multiply by ten, add a big heart, a poet’s ear, and a bad girl’s courage, and you’ve got Lidia Yuknavitch.”
—Karen Karbo, author of How Georgia Became O’Keeffe
