Literary Lounge: Verse of Ages poetry reading May 14, 2014

Event Details

OWC’s first Verse of Ages multigenerational poetry reading was such a resounding success we decided to do it again — twice a year as part of our Literary Lounge. The first in 2014 will be May 14; the second on September 10. What makes it multigenerational is that a poet from each decade will read from his or her work.

The poets, ages in their teens through their 90s, will read individually, while the café ambiance of TaborSpace will provide the perfect opportunity for conversations around verse, styles, slant rhymes … you name it.

Bring your friends and family to enjoy odes, haiku, sonnets, quatrains, free verse, coffee and networking. Maybe a limerick will even pop up.
