Oregon Book Club

OBC-croppedOregon Book Club is a program that connects new Oregon authors with OBC members. Every season, we choose a soon-to-be-released book and mail it to members. While reading, members will have opportunities to discuss the book with fellow members, write reviews, and interact with the author.

In addition to four books over the course of the year-long membership, Oregon Book Club members get all the advantages of an Oregon Writers Colony membership, including access to the historic Colonyhouse.

Oregon Book Club titles are carefully selected by OWC staff and volunteers, and don’t conform to any genre. Publishers interested in having titles considered for the Book Club should contact us the season before the book’s release date. Self-published books will be considered if the book has been professionally edited, has an ISBN, and if the author provides a distribution and publicity plan. Authors must live in the state of Oregon or Clark County, Washington at the time of the book’s release.
