Alice and Don Harriman are the owners of Blue Sun, the largest residential real estate and construction service in the Northwest. When Don Harriman is abducted and murdered, no one seems to know why.

C.J. receives a text message from the victim moments before he is snatched. To C. J., Don Harriman and the text are both mysteries, two minor events that lead him down the roads of intrigue, narcotics trafficking, violence and murder.

Mount St. Helens: 40 Years of Change, featuring Christine Colasurdo

[Christine Colasurdo will discuss Mount St. Helens: 40 Years of Change, on October 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Cannon Beach Library, 131 N. Hemlock Street,, Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Remember the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens? Christine Colasurdo will share rare images of Mount St. Helens and take us on a journey of discovery through the volcano’s blast Zone. This talk is for people who have never visited the volcano, as well as for those who knew Spirit Lake when it was shaded by 500-year-old fir trees. Your stories and memories of the eruption are welcome after Christine’s presentation.

The event is free and open to the public.

Christine is the author of Return to Spirit Lake.

Mollie HuntMollie Hunt will be at the book launch for Cat Call, a Crazy Cat Lady Cozy Mystery #4, on October 26, 2017, at 7 p.m. at Another Read Through, 3932 N Mississippi Ave., in Portland.

What better way to celebrate a book whose hero is a dedicated cat shelter volunteer than to launch her latest tale during National Cat Day week? Mollie Hunt will be bringing out Cat Call, her 4th Crazy Cat Lady cozy mystery, with a reading, Q&A, and book signing at our favorite super-supportive bookstore, Another Read Through. Come join us for champagne and cat-print cupcakes the evening of October 26th.
