Gina Ochsner will lead a hands-on session in which participants will create new worlds, start new stories or ideas, inject life-saving SOS measures into sagging stories or ideas, and in general have some low-down messy fun.
The group will be imagining, inventing, discussing, oh yeah–writing!
About the Instructor: Gina Ochsner is an Oregon author whose collection of stories “People I Wanted To Be” won an Oregon Book Award. Her story collection “Necessary Grace” won the Flannery O’Connor Award. She was also a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship for the Creative Arts. Her other works include “Russian Dreamboat of Color and Flight.”
The workshop happens from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at TaborSpace, 5441 SE Belmont St., Portland.
Prices are $60 for members and $100 for nonmembers, which includes a one-year membershp in Oregon Writers Colony.
