Writers and food lovers unite for an evening of conversation, craft, and Jamaican snacks at the July Literary Lounge.
Four food writers will share their secrets of successful blogging, columns, cookbooks, magazine writing, health and wellness, and more. They’ll answer your questions, and we’ll provide the snacks, including Jamaican treats from the former owners of Montego Bay restaurant!
Here are the writers who will lead the discussion:
Judy Bennett, author of Bloody Marys: Sanguine Solutions for a Slew of Situations. Her websites are at BloodyMaryBook.com and WickedSmartWellness.com.
Grant Butler, who writes the Going Vegan column for The Oregonian.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for the Literary Lounge. The panel discussion begins at 7 p.m., and discussion groups follow the panel discussion.
Literary Lounge events are free for OWC members and their guests; $5 suggested donation for nonmembers.
