Make no mistake, this old place has its charms, but think, "rustic cabin with a hodge-podge of furniture" rather than "Instagram-ready spa retreat." Please set your expectations accordingly.Expectations(Required) I understand the house is NOT wheelchair accessible and that climbing many steps will be required I will bring my own bed linens & toiletries I will bring all my own food and beverages Maid service is NOT included. The balance is due ten days before the stay.Writers Weeks are BACK!!!We are happy to announce that Oregon Writers Colony is bringing back our popular Writers Week for one week per month! Writers Weeks are time set aside on the calendar for individual OWC members to share Colonyhouse on a first-come, first-served basis. The intent of Writers Weeks is to spend time writing while also building community. Each person will have their own room, and share the kitchen, living room and bathrooms (common areas). It can be a great experience to meet other writers, and to feel the magic of Colonyhouse when everyone has focused energy on their projects. The cost for a five-day Writers Week is $200 per person. The maximum number of members who may sign up per week is four. These dates fill up quickly!
