Join us at Colonyhouse in Rockaway Beach for Colonyhouse Days, when we set aside a Sunday to come together and give our beloved Colonyhouse some much needed love and care and reconnect our members.

Colonyhouse days are part service and part literary salon. We’ll start with one to two hours of cleaning and maintenance before enjoying lunch and hearing members read from their work.

Gatherings are informal, and we ask participants to bring their own lunches, work gloves, and boxes, as we are hoping to clear some space in the house.

Founders Day is a special celebration of appreciation of our founding members. It is also the annual meeting of the Board of Directors. Snacks are served.

Readings will be on a first come basis, with sign ups closing after the first service hour.

We’re so excited to refocus our energy on community building and our very special home for writers.

What: Light maintenance and service of Colonyhouse and reading.
